Face to Face meetings?

I wanted to throw out a suggestion. How would ya'll feel about arranging face to face meetings? I do not have any idea of where everyone here lives, however, where I live, I network with quite a few of like minded people. I tend to be an action type of person, who would rather be doing something active to further HUMfest besides just coming here to this site and reading the posts, etc. I do not know if anyone else here shares my feelings about that, but in addition to one national HUMfest, perhaps others could be created in various geographic locations, to encourage more attendance, more publicity for HUM, etc. I know for myself, I care for my 84 year old mother, and to go across the country to attend a festival would be very difficult for me, I would have to arrange for someone to care for her. However, I attend local festivals in my state of Virginia all spring and summer. Would anyone else care to share their thoughts on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
